General terms

Why should you book a tour in France with our French Agency?

While planning a tour in France with your team, you will need to arrange accommodations, games, trainings and likely transport during your week-end or week. Booking with us, you are sure you get the best deals and arrangements.

What is a contract ?

When booking a sport tour or a tournament with our agency, your contract is with COMEON SPORT. When booking with us, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our confirmation and deposits requirements. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by French Law, and the jurisdiction of the French Courts.

What is the price you will pay?

Before issuing a booking a tour with our agency, we realise a quote or cost estimate that gives you the price you will pay. This quote ensures your team that the price is defined and known. You will be then advised of the current price of the tour that you wish to book before your contract is confirmed.

Sport Arrangements

How do we organise friendly games & trainings ?

While booking a sport tour with ComeOn Sport, you expect to play game(s) and do training(s) as mentionned in our quote and itinerary. We prepare and arrange these activities with clubs and teams we know well here in France. In 15 years, we only have cancelled 7 games during the whole period! Outdoor activities and water sports for example may not operate for reasons such as unstable weather conditions or lack of support, or rugby pitches, hockey fields or golf courses etc may be closed for maintenance or private competitions or any official reasons such as approvals or autorisations provided by councils, unions or sport federations in France. Therefore, friendly sports games or tournaments can be modified, amended, postponed or cancelled without notice but we always do our best to provide your team with a plan B, either another game somewhere else or another activity.

What happens if there are some changes in the booking

You can modify the booking, add or remove people or options at any time. Any request for changes to be made must be in writing from the person who made the booking or your travel agent. We advise you to let us know if the changes you want to make are possible or not and if this change will alter the final price or not. If the number of people on a booking changes, the tour price will be recalculated on the basis of the amended party size.

Responsability

Are we protected when booking with your agency?

ComeOn Sport is protected by Hiscox insurance against all major problems that could occur during the organisation. We always provide a full knowledge of conditions & liabilities to foreign teams that tour our country with our agency.

Travel insurance

It is strongly recommended that you take out some form of insurance with all our French tours. It’s a requirement of travelling with ComeOn Sport that you obtain a full travel insurance cover. We also strongly recommend that you obtain an E111 form which covers you for medical treatment in hospitals within the EU. If you have a European Health Insurance Card it will be valid up to its expiry date and therefore, gives you a protection. You may take a trip cancellation insurance insuring your group against any other problems such as loss of luggage and personal effects, theft, injuries at airports, motorways, roads or ports before crossing the borders.

Brexit & Passports

Passeports

Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements in your home country prior to departure. For instance, check to see if your passport will still be valid at the time you are touring our country. If you have a British passport, you need to have at least six months left on your passport and it must have been issued within the last 10 years.

Phone

When touring France or any other countries in Europe, please check your mobile phone company’s policy on data roaming before you arrive. Rules are changing every year and it means you may face higher charges when using your phone abroad (calls, text messages or internet).

Covid 19 & Pandemic

Refundable Deposits

Because of the pandemic, we propose full refundable deposits to teams that wish to book a tour in France. In 2020 & early 2021, we have refunded most of our client (rugby tours, football tournaments, basketball trips, pre-season tours….) and have postponed tours tp next year for the other teams (those that have accepted it). If your group is affected by a lockdown in our country or in any other country of Europe, your tour is fully refundable or rebookable for the next period/year.
